Scrub Daddy The Original FlexTexture Sponge, Scratch-Free Multipurpose Dish Sponge (1 Count)

The smiley-face sponge that goes firm in cold water and soft in warm

Scrub Daddy's FlexTexture foam changes firmness with water temperature: firm in cold water for baked-on messes, softer in warm water for everyday washing. The face shape is functional, not just cute - the eyes give finger grip and the mouth cleans both sides of utensils at once. It is scratch-free on surfaces like nonstick, cast iron and glass, and resists odors far longer than a basic cellulose sponge.

What we like

Temperature-controlled firmness adapts to the job
Scratch-free on nonstick, cast iron, stainless steel and glass
Resists odors and stains for weeks rather than days
Smiley design cleans utensils on both sides and reaches inside mugs

Good to know

Costs several times more than a basic sponge
FlexTexture foam breaks down faster with bleach and high-heat cycles
Firm mode in cold water still will not match a metal scourer on carbonized pans
